"Printed in color by hand from Japanese wood blocks," from the front cover. Bound in a handmade folio case of blue cloth over boards with silk ribbons and bone clasps. Paper label intact and with gold flecks on the front. An orange cloth label on the spine. Japan paper pastedowns. Contains five individually bound stories, each in fine and original condition with no tears or marks. Page counts include covers. List of Books with illustrations from coloured woodcuts, at the rear of, "The Boy Who Drew Cats." A fine copy, richly illustrated in color.
