Letters on the spine faded. Some scuffing, darkening towards the edges, a few scratches and scrapes with general wear. Slight lean, but all bound solidly. Small scuff on title page. Interior is gently and evenly age toned with no markings, inscriptions, bookplates, or other impacts. No subsequent printings listed on the copyright page. Good+ exterior, Very Good+ interior. First edition, first printing of the first poetry collection from one of the leaders of the Harlem Renaissance and Jazz poetry.
