New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1936. First Thus. The New York Edition, Volumes 5 & 6 with "A-5.62 [MH]," on copyright page. Bound in black cloth over boards with a gilded facsimile signature on the front, blue panels and gilded lettering on the spine, and a gilded device on the rear. Both volumes are solid and square with one bumped lower corner each. Volume 1 with modest toning to edges and endpapers. Volume 2 the same. Both books are internally clean, clear, and crisp with unbroken spines. The books are called out internally as volumes 1 & 2 but are part of a larger 26 volume series.
