Volume 2 is (1/16) inch shorter and uses a different paper type. Solid with square corners. Light spotting to covers. Modest spotting to edges, a little more in volume 2. A short tear to the top edge of volume 2. With marginal notes in pencil and some underlining in the first part of volume 2. Volume 1 closer to near fine, volume 2 closer to very good.
