From the Modern Library giant series, G59, second or later edition, but early based on covers and spine. No jacket. Blue-grey cloth over boards with publisher's device on front and spine, and gilded lettering inside red labels on spine. Solid and square with sharp corners just showing the beginning of fraying, and a small fray at the lower edge. Red top stain. The interior is gently and evenly toned, otherwise it is clean, clear, and crisp with an unbroken spine.
