London: Cassell and Company, LTD, 1950. First Edition. In original unclipped jacket in a protective sheet with toning to the spine and a short, closed tear. Bound in black cloth over boards with gilded lettering on the spine. Square corners with a slight lean, some edge wear, and light spotting to the cloth. Stamp of former owner on ffep and some foxing to same. The interior is clean and clear throughout with a few paper imperfections (flecks in the paper making process). Selected and edited by G. B. Stern.
