New York: The Viking Press, 1950. First U. S. Edition. In original, unclipped, jacket in a protective sheet with minor edge wear and damp-staining (very minor) and some chipping to the back. Bound in salmon paper over boards with 1/4 blue cloth spine. Design to the edge of paper and cloth on the front with gilded lettering on the spine. Damp-staining at the lower edge of the covers, no internal impacts, otherwise near fine. Dark blue or grey top stain. Pages 10-11 are toned (likely due to a paper of lesser quality having been laid in for a time), no other samples of toning or foxing anywhere in the pages.
