New York: Alfred A Knopf, 1932. First Edition. Stated first edition. In original, unclipped, jacket with creasing, chipping, and the front flap detached, but present. Art deco illustration on jacket with "FM" as signature. Bound in green cloth over boards with burgundy lettering and blue embellishments to front and spine. Bookplate of former owner on the front pastedown and light pencil note on ffep. Blue top-stain with deckled long edge. The interior is gently and evenly toned, otherwise it is clean and clear throughout.
