Nashville: Cokesbury Press, 1935. First Edition. With an interpretation by Lois J. Erickson, an introduction by Sherwood Eddy, and illustrations by Julian Brazelton. Bound in original black cloth over boards with gilded lettering on the front and spine. Solid and square with a tiny crimp to one corner and pushed at head and tail of spine. Deckled long edge. Bookplate from former owner on front pastedown with a card slot and card as a lending library from the same owner, never lent out according to card (not an ex-library book). Some page sections split along gutter, but all is tight and holding firmly. The interior is clean and clear throughout.
