Bound in original blue cloth over boards with gilded lettering on the spine. Spine and upper edges have sun fading, a few flecks, generally solid and square. Contemporary signature from former owner on ffep with some tears along the gutter of the front endpapers. Top edge gilt, long and lower edges rough cut. The interior is gently and evenly toned, otherwise it is clean and clear throughout.
