London: Hogarth Press, 1936. First Edition. Published by Leonard and Virgina Woolf. In original, unclipped, jacket in a protective sheet and designed by John Banting. Front separated along crease at spine, back panel tear along 60% of rear crease - all present and looks neat in the mylar cover. Bound in original blue cloth over boards with gilded lettering on the spine. Solid, square, with sharp corners. Some minor sunning at edges. "First published 1936," on copyright page. The interior is gently and evenly toned, otherwise it is clean and clear throughout.
