Bound in original green cloth over boards with an illustration on the front, lettering, and designs on the spine in black, green, and yellow. The front illustration depicts from the rear the driver of a hansom cab. Leaning, solidly bound, gentle fraying at corners, minor shelf wear, minor scuffing - all small, but present. Pencil signature from a former owner on the ffep. Tissue guard present between title and frontispiece. Small and minor marginal spots on pages 1-6, but substantially clean and clear throughout.
