An esoteric work combining myths, legends, early archeology, and older esoteric writings into a work describing ancient humans and their societies including the mythical lands of Atlantis, Lemuria, and others. "With a Special Chapter by Dr. James D. Ward." Bound in original, orange cloth over boards with a debossed border on the front, gilded lettering and an Asian idol on the front, faded gilded lettering on the spine. The spine is darkened, toning to the covers, light fraying at the tail of the spine and at corners, minor shelf wear. Very slight lean, generally solid and square. Orange top-stain. With a bookplate from a former owner on the front pastedown. The interior is gently and evenly toned, otherwise it is clean and clear throughout with no notes, underlining, or inscriptions.
