New York: D. Appleton-Century Company Incorporated, 1936. First U.S. Edition. In original, unclipped, jacket in protective sheet. Minor toning to the jacket and some tiny chipping at the tail of the spine. Bound in purple textured and reflective cloth over boards with gilded lettering on the front and spine. Solid, square corners, very slight lean. Purple top-stain and deckled long edge. Signature from a former owner on the ffep. A few preliminary pages have toning similar to printer roller marks, nowhere else in the text found. The interior is bright, clean, and clear.
