Limited to 500 copies (overall second printing), this copy does not have a number written on the copyright/limitations page. No jacket, as issued. Bound in vellum like cloth over boards with a bronze border, floral designs, fleur-de-lis, and lettering on the front and spine. The word, "Fiction," in ink on the spine with a few ink spots. The spine is darkened, there is general wear to the covers and edges. The book remains solid and square. The top edge is gilt, the long and lower edges are rough cut. This is an ex-library book with a few library stamps and a card slot on the rear pastedown and rear free endpaper. Signature of Arthur Mooney on the title page. The interior is clean and bright with wide margins. Illustrations by the author.
