Boston: Roberts Brothers, 1887. First Edition. Anonymously published but authored by Edward Payson Tenney. In original publisher's brown cloth over boards with gilded device on the front and gilding on the spine. Edge rubbed, some minor scuffing, and gentle bumps to the corners and spine ends. Decorative flora endpapers. First gathering, including preliminaries, a little loose; pages 21-28 present but loose. Subsequent gatherings tightly bound. The interior is clean and clear throughout with no markings, inscriptions, or bookplates.
