First edition stated on copyright page. In original, unclipped ($3.50), jacket in protective sheet. Minor chipping at edges, a larger chip at the head of the spine, minor creases. Bound in gre cloth over boards with a red label and silver lettering and lines on the spine. Solid and square with some scuffing towards the top of the spine. The interior is clean, clear, crisp, and bright. Jacket with price, also states, "A Book-of-the-Month Club Selection."
