London: Jonathan Cape, 1928. First Edition. First edition naval adventure novel. In original jacket with intact price, but elsewhere clipped, in protective sheet. Aged toning to jacket, darkened spine, chiping and closed tears, all relatively minor. Blue cloth over boards with gilding on spine. Spine and edges slightly faded. Insert advertisement for, "The Stepson," by, Martin Armstrong, inside front cover. Some foxing to edges, half-title, and title - I did not see additional spotting. Interior is clean and clear.
