Deckled long fore edge. Former owner signture and date on ffep. Portrait frontispiece protected by thin paper. Corners just bumped, light creasing to top right corner and at head and tail of spine, some light spotting. Some marginal pencil notes in the biographical sketch section, otherwise the interior is clean and clear with some pages remaining uncut.
