First edition of the play which was soon turned into an Academy Award winning movie. First performed in 1979 in the UK and in 1980 in the US, the play, like the movie would, won multiple awards. Unclipped dust jacket in mylar; one small scff to back bottom edge. Red boards with silver lettering on spine with one small scuff on top right front. Other than mentioned scuffs in as new condition. Interior very clean and clear. Published inset on page 109 correcting a line from Salier.
