Bound in green cloth over boards with the image of factories over the title and author on the front cover. Title, device, author, and publisher on spine. Some rubbing to white letters on cover and spine, but mostly intact. Light rubbing to edges and corners. Barely legible inscription on front endpaper by original owner (bought July 1906). An article clipping from The Publisher's Weekly with a copy of a letter fron Sinclair Lewis clarifying the order of printing between first and second state publishing where Sinclair Lewis argues that there is no clear way to define the difference. Text block is solid, slightly toned, but otherwise in near fine condition.
