Holmiae (Stockholm): Johannis Janssonii, 1654. 2nd. Original vellum binding. Title on spine with 2 library stamp/stickers. Inside front cover is the library mark of the Vatican Library. First leaf contains a Vatican stamp stating “Duplicato.” Aged and toned paper, all text easily legible. One small worm hole to spine at lower back, old and unimpactful to text or strength of binding. Ericus Olai was a 15th century Swedish theologian and historian educated in Rostock and later taught at Upsalla University. He was a proponent of the Swedish Gothicismus movement of which this work is associated.
